Hello to all who wander. I'm just Joe. When I was a little boy, I inherited an ancient Sohmer piano from my Aunt. It came with a leg busted off. It was perfect for me. My Pops already played the guitar relentlessly and always tickled his fancy by serenading my Mom on the weekends while they drank and hung out around a bonfire in the woods of southern Michigan. Our remodeled old double-wide trailer, trying so hard to be like Billy Joel, John Denver, or James Taylor. It is memories of the simpler times, that I draw my inspiration. Some would call me a hippy-dippy kind of fellow. Which is where Joe The Hippy was created. It is exactly the Hippy-dippy, free-spirited, nomadic melodies with a twinge of nostalgia that I hope you get from this musical journey that I am on. I wish nothing but truth, light, and love to all who seek it out. Stay kind. Let the music guide you. Lend me your ears, and I hope it can open your heart to find some kindness.
